Independent businesses close because people don't know they exist — not because they aren't good enough. We're trying to fix the discovery problem.
What we believe
A neighbourhood is only as interesting as its independents. Every closed shutter is a story, a livelihood and a bit of local character gone. Discovery is the cheapest possible intervention.
How we measure success
Not screen time. We care about three things:
- Real visits driven to independent businesses.
- Owners who say Locanta brought them customers they wouldn't have had.
- People discovering places within walking distance they'd never noticed.
Our commitments
- Independents only — no chains crowding the deck.
- Honest ranking. Paid plans unlock tools, not fake popularity.
- Your location data stays yours, and is never sold.
